Antique Shop

Gosh...I didn't realized for almost 2 weeks I didn't blog already. I don't think I can name the shoe house as "desert house" anymore. Its more like "antique shop"! Really...my goodness...70% of the ppl over there are probably antiques. The atmosphere is quiet. Thank god for partitions. Anyway, the place that I am sitting isn't a great view. I am literally sitting behind a darn pillar which has a bit of chunk falling off from, so whenever my chair was leaned against the pillar, it will leave white mark on my jacket which I hung on the chair. Bugger. I always have to go and flap my jacket to dust off that blardy white mark on it and sounded like a mad bird flapping its wings.

And after entering the antique shop, there are 2 ways to go into it. One is the normal entrance where everyone will take and the other one will be the entrance where ppl will pass by my place. And I wouldn't even know who is passing by because my back is facing whoever it is. Oh boy...hopefully the feng shui of my place is good. Gosh...I really gotta go dig into feng shui of my place already. I am actually scouring for a 8-legged dragon figurine to be put on my table. Errr...is it 8 legged? I can't really remembered. Must go double check it first. Well, apart from all that, I have a sorta curved "L" shape desk which I can start whether from L-R or R-L or middle. Hehe. Its big and comfy enough for me to happily mess up my desk. And I have a built in cabinet below the desk! Everyone of us has it. So I guessed the decor is not too bad. I'll post the pix next time...:)

Well, ppl there are literally so-called friendly. Either they put on a mask or they're genuine about it. As I mentioned earlier, 70% of them are in their 40s already. The balance 30% are between mid 20s to mid 30s. Gotten chummy with 3-4 aunties over there. OMG! Does it meant that I am gonna be an AUNTIE also? OMG! Hello! There aren't many young ppl there whereas in butcher's, I was surrounded by loads! And I do feel young! Hehe...uhhh over here, gosh! If I don't go mix with the youngsters, I think I will end up being a part of them and fade away...fade fade fade into misty clouds...ooo la la! Hahahaha! The aunties that I was chummy with are ok. The uncles are pretty reserved. I rather go out than stay there. I felt so suffocated. With the antiques and the silence. Thank goodness for msn & fb.

Wokay...gonna cut short although I have loads of crap to blog about. ^_^

Muaks muaks!

1st Day @ Desert House

Started my 1st day arriving on time, urm...5 mins late actually. Yalah. Stupid jam. I tried my best to be on time or earlier abit already. Then got a stupid policeman directing traffic when there are traffic lights! *Eyes rolling*.
Hmmm...I'll try keep my blog short this time but sure failed wan. Hehe. Coz I am so "cheong hei". Somemore today's blog I felt like using "Manglish". Get the kick out of it. Yeah! Haha! Well...nothing much to talk about in desert house. Except they temporarily put me in an "exposed" and "naked" place. Aiyah...that's the place near the gents and when ppl walk past, the first thing they see is me ah. Then can see whatever I am doing di lor. After a while, desert man came out and told me "Hmmm...I think u better sit there. Here everyone pass by also can see what ur doing. No privacy. Hmmm...Maybe u can clean up the place?", he smiled at me. Then of course I am happy lah. "Yeh...no need sit here di. Yeh...happy thoughts!".
Wah...fly also can rest inside my mouth lor when I went to the place opposite mine. Oh gosh! The place is so messy and the amount of rubbish in that place - paiseh. Anyway, to cut things short, I finally cleaned up the mess together with the help of a friendly makcik cum receptionist there. Haha. Then started to intro lah. To cut short again...everyone busy. Go out for appts. Then in, out, in out, all over the place. Hectic. Hmmm...that's what I called - the life of advertising...After that i waited till lunch time lor. During that moment, felt like dozing off di. So sleepy. Sumore so tired...Lunch time - bumped into Butcher's little helpers - end of story...kakakaka.
Oh time whizzed by so slowwwww....I really cannot tahan di, not on the first day or wat lah, but very sleepy and my eyes are hurting me. So I decided to ciao on time. Den hor, Ah Hiao msg me said raining heavily. Better I stay den get stuck in jam. Wahlau eh! Die lor if stay longer. Hai, I decided rather to get stuck in jam then get stuck in desert house. So I left praying that it won't rain so heavily. Thanked my lucky stars, I reached home early. Heh heh...Sorry oh no pix at the moment. Gila meh suddenly take pix? Later when I hv found my niche in desert house di, will put some pix in k.
Alrite, I hope this week will be an eye opener for me. And other things as well. Life's full of suprises...
Muaks muaks!
